Hello readers!
Hope everyone had a great weekend and is well rested and happy!
As I said in previous blog posting, the team and I have come into conclusion that I will be playing the teenager runaway, we have made this conclusion  because of further research. There are two themes behind this decision. 1.Stereotypes 2.Bringing a message. What do I mean by stereotypes? I have made certain conclusion because of my research, part of my research came from: http://teenstereotypeportrayals.blogspot.com/2013/04/stereotypes-in-teen-movies.html, The stereotypes in teen movies, specially teenage drama has influenced young girls all over the world. Teen drama films utilize stereotypes all the time, for example: The mean girl, The good girl, The mean girl, The rebel, The loner, The "perfect" girl, The nerd, the loser, etc. You guys get the point.

Example 1:
The edge of seventeen

The edge of 17 is a teenage drama film in which stereotypes play a key role in the movie, the star role happens to be the typical loner, the other leading role plays, the typical jock, and his girlfriend, plays the typical, good nice girl. These stereotypes are key to the development of the story and this film is ver successful.

Example 2:
Thirteen

Thirteen is a teen drama classic, where stereotypes are also what make this movie the ,movie it is. Thirteen consist of two typical, rebel popular girls that live crazy adventures and are having the time of their life. In these movie the girls wear all black have piercings, wear hoops and they play out the typical "rebel, bad girl" This is a classic, and a high success teenage drama film.

Example 3:
Cyberbully

Cyberbully is a movie with a message, that also utilizes stereotypes and is a teenage drama film. This movie uses the stereotype of the typical "nerd, loser girl" as well as the mean girls who bully her. This movie won awards and is well known to many teenagers as well as in the teenage drama genre. Cyberbully is also a movie that teaches a big and vital message to the world with the use of stereotypes.

Because of the pattern of utilizing stereotypes in highly successful films in teen movies we have concluded that we will also be using stereotypes. All of these three films have won wards, are extremely known, and are teen drama films. Because of this research we will be using a typical stereotype in our opening. As I stated in the beginning of this post, the second reason to our leading character decision is that we want to bring a message to our viewers. We want to convey to audience that absolutely everyones goes through stress, pain, and issues in their lives. That no matter your weight, looks, popularity, amount of money, or other characteristics we all still go through our one pain. We will be coming the use of stereotypes, and our goal to being a message with the teenage runaway.
