Angles and composition

Good morning readers!
My group and I strongly believe that shots, angles, and composition are extremely important towards  a successful scene, and the showing of the different components of a scene. Because of this believe we have decided to incorporate a variety of shots that display all the parts of the scene that we want to include. We utilized extreme close ups, high angles, over the shoulder shots, low point of view shots, establishing shots, middle shots and we did this for the purpose of success and understating. In our filming of the study hall scene where Margo confesses to Liam that she is running away we incorporated angles and shots. In order to show that Margo was hiding her running away clothe in her backpack we incorporated an over the shoulder shot where it clearly showed to the viewers that she has bunch of clothe in her  backpack instead of books or notebooks which is what would normally be inside of a students backpack. What this shot also did is that inferred that something was going to happen and that although the viewers know that something is up Liam does not because he is yet to encounter the fact that he loved girlfriend is planning to run away.
We also included close ups, we used a close up in Liam's face when Margo confesses he r plans to disappear, the reason why we decided to use an extreme close up is so that the Liam's facial expression is clearly shown. His eyes are vividly shown as well and they tell the story as well. wHEN Liam tells Margo that he wants to come with the honesty and pureness of his actions is clearly sown b the detail in his eyes and his facial expressions. On the contrary we also did the same thing in Margo shots as well, that show the pain and tiredness in her eyes and facial expressions when she is telling Liam how she feels and the suffering she is going through by hiding who she truly is and wants to strongly be.
We incorporated shots going back and forth from Liam's face to Margo's in order to show the viewers both sides and show that they are having a conversation. This benefits us towards clearly showing the viewers what both characters are feeling. This also keeps the viewers fully interested in the opening because it shows quick switchups.  Since our target audience is teenagers we need to keep our audience fully interested, teenagers have a small attention spam so those quick switches and changes will create adrenaline and increase the climax it will also increase the want of the audience to actually finish watching the opening and stay interested. Our actions in filming serve our purpose and relate towards our target audience.
