Reflection essay

Reflection essay We have finally finished with our film opening! My team and I are extremely proud of the results and have learned a whole lot while getting the job done. This film opening gave us knew knowledge on the world of film but not just that! We also learned how to successfully work as a team and at all times incorporate the ideas of all which is extremely important towards the success of any team work activity. My knowledge on film, camera's, sound, and acting have growth and I much more now know how impactful every little component is to any film opening. Copycat a teenage drama film done by Isabella, Daniella, Sara and I has been an adventure and a fulfilling learning experience.                 Our  product uses and challenges conventions in multiple different ways, and it definitely represents social groups in issues. Specially for targeting our teenage highschoolers.  Parental pressure is a struggle that an impactful of teenag

Last day of filming!

Hi my people! Today we concluded our last day of filming!                       The scene we did today was the credit scene which took try after try after try. We found ourselves actually struggling to get this credit scene done because we needed it to look like the regular morning of a teenage girl. First thing that occurred was Margo would be painting her nails in her bed and "accidentally" spill the nail polish and the first credit will be revealed. Then she will check the Time on there phone and will notice that she is late to school. After that Margo move on too the white shirt where two credits are also displayed, then she turns the shirt around and shoves the shirt in her school backpack. After that She grabs the backpack puts it on and looks at herself in the mirror where another credit shows on the mirror and the she walks out of the room.                     I believe that the reason why it was so hard to film this is because we did one big long shot, which also

Last day of filming Pt.2

Hi my readers!                After the credit scene we moved on to a quite important part of the opening. Once she walked out and was about to walk out of her house a very important phrase was said. Margo said "Bye mom" which a certain tone that did gave insight to the readers, she didn't say I love you or said bye in a happy tone.  Margo's mom responded "Bye Margo, have a successful day" her mom didn't say I love you, she didn't say have a nice day, no. Instead she said have a successful day which does show a lot about the relationship between Margo and her mom.              It gives insight on the idea that Margo's mom cares a whole lot about her future and being successful, maybe even more then her being happy. Right after that Margo banged the front door. Which showed how her moms reaction made her feel. Filming this section was not as difficult, since Margo was the only one in the scene and its just displays hr walking out of the door. Th

Last day of filming pt.3

Hi my dear people!         In continuation to Margo walking out and banging the door, the next very important part of this film comes along. Right now Margo is wearing her girly outfit and her hair is completely back up. She looks like a happy little girl but little do we know who she actually is yet. Margo walks out her door and stops walking for a second. Here we decided to use a close up scene of Margo putting her hair down and saying the very important phrase "Today is the day" This makes the opening more intriguing and it makes the viewer, what is next? What is to come? What is Margo about to do? today is the day for what?               We decided to include this phrase for the very purpose of keeping our audile interested and want to continue watching the rest of the film . When Margo says this phrase she also has a look on her face, the look that says I am up to something, the what some would call the "bad girl" look. This shows contrast between the charact
